Using the table for analysis
There are times when a stock maintains its trend rating but doesn’t really move much. Eg are Coal India and Jsw Energy. We should be alert about such moves also. So, what can be done is that if the aging score moves beyond 3 but stock price doesn’t move, keep a tight stoploss. Or, put another way, look for price moves if the score moves. Eg. See Paytm, UPL. If they dont, then ensure you dont lose money on these names.

Hcltech is age score 12- quite extended. But IT stocks did not rally, so decline may not halt. In fact, this may trip up some fresh selling in other IT counters. Coforge makes an entry today as does Persistent. Results of both did not impress the markets much.
Asian Paints has reached 5. Last two day ranges are the same. So chances are that the score may stall here. If short, be alert and tighten stops. But in weak markets, score could extend too. This is also the case with Reliance.

Right now heavyweight stocks seem to be heading down while it is more lightweight stocks that are part of the upmove. That shows that the Nifty may come under pressure if this keeps up.
